This is an animmatic that my team and I created for our visual communications module in Creative Multimedia at LIT Clonmel. This animatic was created using Toon Booms Storyboard Pro, all illustrations were done by Kevin Maloney and the editing and sound mixing was done by myself and Claire Murray. This was our first attempt at creating an animatic and our first time also using the software StoryBoard Pro. Personally I think that overall we did an admirable job, as we created and wrote the story and script then seleccted a piece to transform into an animatic. We recorded all audio and had fellow classmates perform each piece, I am happy about the performances and the audio we reccorded for the piece but I feel that in the final edit the audio didn't come out like it should have. It was too low and lacked the emphasis that it had originally. I think the transitions in the video and the inbetweens of the shots could have been done better, if we had spent more time and effort on them I believe they would have turned out to much more pleasing to the eye. I also think that I slightly rushed the background music tracks and it makes the video somewhat lackluster at the beginning. I am howeveer proud of all the work we did and in the time frame that we completed it in.
